They leased the 25th and 26th floors, previously occupied by Marmon before their move to the 39th floor, which Whitney also designed. This move coincided with UTLX’s initiative to bring staff back into the office. Whitney was entrusted to create a vibrant but industrial aesthetic that reflected their brand and the industrial nature of their business. The goal was to create an environment that pulled people back into the office where they could collaborate in person.
While the design remains architecturally neutral, UTLX’s brand colors are integrated through special architectural details and lighting accents. Interior glass-front offices allow natural light to permeate the space, complemented by continuous general lighting that guides staff throughout.
The office is designed with flexibility to support a hybrid work policy, featuring a significant increase in meeting rooms to enhance collaboration. Large hospitality areas on each floor foster community and provide spaces for staff gatherings. UTLX was thrilled with the outcome, appreciating how Whitney effectively communicated their vision through the built environment.
