Whitney partnered with Stout to transform its Chicago headquarters relocation into an opportunity to rethink how the office supports flexibility, efficiency, and in-person value.
Working in alignment with Stout’s Future of Work Taskforce, Whitney helped create a bright, modern workplace that reflects Stout’s professional culture while supporting evolving work patterns.
The new headquarters significantly optimizes Stout’s real estate footprint, occupying roughly half the size of the previous office while reducing seating capacity by only 20 percent. The floorplan accommodates 102 workstations, 57 focus rooms, and 8 huddle rooms, balancing collaborative energy with quiet, private environments for focus work, virtual meetings, and client conversations.
Located at The Bell, the office builds on the building’s amenity-rich experience to make the workplace a destination employees choose to use. A centrally located work café and coffee bar serve as social anchors, while layered ceiling treatments, decorative lighting, and a rich mix of flooring and wall materials add warmth, texture, and visual energy.
Since move-in, Stout has experienced increased in-office presence, stronger engagement, and smoother workflows, with employees describing the space as a “game changer.”
Delivered on time and within budget, the new headquarters reflects Whitney’s collaborative approach and positions Stout for continued growth and success.
