Morgan Services, a fifth-generation, family-owned textile rental company, partnered with Whitney to design their new 7,300 RSF office in downtown Chicago following a strategic downsize and relocation.
The goal was to create a refined, right-sized environment that reflects the company’s long-standing legacy while embracing a modern, efficient workplace model. The resulting space balances traditional professionalism with warm, contemporary design. Elevated finishes, including natural stone, wood, and custom millwork, bring a sense of comfort and permanence, while clean lines and tailored detailing underscore the company’s enduring attention to quality.
A neutral, textural palette reinforces the brand’s understated confidence. In a subtle tribute to their history, a tile inset floor at the entry was inspired by the traditional mosaic flooring in one of Morgan Services’ original factory locations, creating a meaningful connection between past and present.
