This project was a redevelopment of an abandoned box store, transforming it into a state-of-the-art regional compounding center for our Confidential Pharmaceutical Provider.
As the sole tenant of the building, our client benefited from a complete gut and expansion of the building, allowing for a customized design that maximized operational efficiency.
The Tampa facility stands as the most advanced in our client's portfolio to date, featuring redundant clean rooms and mechanical systems that enable continuous 24/7 operation when required.
Serving as a regional hub, the center supports outpatient infusion suites across Florida—many of which were also designed by Whitney—allowing them to deliver care in off-site, patient-friendly environments. The pharmacists and staff use this modern workspace to manufacture life-saving and life-enhancing drugs, crucial to their mission.
In designing this facility, Whitney worked closely with our client to ensure consistency with two other new regional compounding centers in New York, NY and Richmond, VA.
This parallel design process resulted in a reinforcement of the company’s brand and ensured operational uniformity across all locations.
